We are so excited about this year’s designs! We’ve drawn our inspiration from the great divas of the 1930s and 1940s (think Bette Davis and Elizabeth Taylor) – each dress is packed with details such as textured, beaded brooches and fine embroidery. A second line has been modelled on the full crinoline skirts ofthe Victorian era – bringing contemporary styling to a more classic look.
What sort of trends can brides expect to find in the collection?
It features both long and short dresses in a variety of styles, from billowing creations to sheer designs – all made from the finest organza, tulle or silk knit fabrics. We really wanted to emphasise the delicate beauty oftoday’s modern, cosmopolitan woman. hink spectacular backs, crop tops and blouses, intricate beadwork, exquisite appliques, and new interpretations of the classic lace design. If readers are looking for that touch of film-star glamour; you’ve found it!

I must stress, that at Rosa Clara, each and every gown is truly unique. he creative process is always headed up by myself and my incredibly talented design team. We study current trends to meet the needs of each and every bride. First of all, the bride tries on samples at one of our many stores; and she chooses the design that suits her. Next, the chosen material is purchased and work starts on the gown. After two or three fittings to ensure the dress fits the customer’s body perfectly, it is ready to be collected – this is the most exciting moment for both us and the customer! F inally, to finish off the look, we also offer lingerie, shoes, veils and headdresses to match – ensuring you’ve got the whole package – it’s time to walk down the aisle!
