The forearms should be rotated slightly and the hands should hold the inside of the arms. Tuck your chin in. Inhale and go forward from the hips. Aim for the knee, keeping your chin tucked in and curving your spine inward. Stay there for counts and come up slowly. If your head won’t go to the knee, bend the knee up to meet the forehead, or do the best you can. This puts more attention on the neck than the shoulders, and is good for the trapezius area that knots so easily under tension.
